All Saints' Episcopal Church
Living and Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ
As the national Episcopal Church website states, "Christian formation is the lifelong process of growing in our relationship with God, self, others, and all creation. Every experience in our lives can provide us with the opportunity to express our faith; the challenge we face is recognizing these opportunities and learning ways to live a sometimes countercultural life in a secular world."
Christian formation at All Saints' covers a variety of topics that allows participants to grow intellectually, spiritually, and in community with one another with an emphasis on engaging with the world. Whatever your interest, the material covered in Christian formation will enrich your understanding of the Christian faith and the Episcopal Church, all while drawing from the theological insights of the Anglican Communion.
The Christian Formation Team meets every fourth Tuesday of each month. Joy Sullivan is the Vestry liaison to the Christian Formation Team.
Adult classes on a variety of topics are provided year-round. We meet quarterly on Wednesdays 6:00 – 8:30 pm. As we gather we will celebrate the Eucharist, enjoy a potluck dinner, and have a planned program of study and discussion. Planned quarterly meetings will be on October 26, 2022, January 25, 2023 and April 26, 2023. Additionally, a Bible Study group meets on Wednesdays at 11am in the parish hall, Wyndham Room.
Youth23-24 SY Sunday School will begin on September 10 at 9:30am. We will be using the book "Can I Ask That?" as the curriculum.
